Offer's In

We've made our offer. Now the fun begins.

Apparently the estate manager called again this morning to see if we had made the offer yet. I think this is good news - the fact that he's so anxious to sell. Though, I'm fully expecting a counter-offer.

I asked for the old-fashioned water pump for the backyard to be thrown in. As the agent was writing it in, he said "This'll make them laugh..." I said, "I don't care, as long as I don't have to see them laughing at me!" I think it would look so cute outside, and really, what will they do with it?

So, we should hear back either this evening or tomorrow. This is nerve-wracking!

I would compare it to the two-week wait... but really it's nothing like that. At all. That's just my attempt to keep this blog from being kicked off all the infertility sites.

I think I'll go steam my vagina with basil water now.

Good luck with the offer! Oh my gosh--I don't know what the basil water does, but that last line made me LOL at work!

You know everyone is going to stalk your blog now just like when someone is due for a pregnancy test, about to give birth, or about to adopt. Doesn't matter that this isn't related to infertility... :)

Yeah! I hope they respond back quickly with the words "accepted."

I can't wait to hear if they accept the offer. I agree that you will now be blog-stalked until we hear if they accepted it.

Have fun with your basil steam as you wait :).

Good luck! It's so nerve wrecking, isn't it?! When we finally got the call back that they accepted our offer it was such a huge sigh of relief...

You and your steaming your lady business cracks me up. I really am going to look into that though, if it's as great as you (and many others) have said!!

GOOD LUCK, again!!!

I'm still not even sure whether I believe that you steam your vagina. (I also haven't decided whether I really believe that steam could get INTO your vagina by itself, or what it would do once it got there. In fact the basil angle has me thinking of Kramer making vegetable dishes in the shower. I'm moving on now.)

You are SO going to get this house, and I am super-jealous but also so excited for you, and if you're going to be booted from the infertilisphere for this, well, then, I was booted long ago. (Hey, that might be true. But I don't care. My charts are gibberish; antiques I can understand.)

Very exciting about the offer! Hopefully they don't play back and forth to much, and hopefully that old pump is part of the package :)

Now listen here SBV: I followed the link to the Lady Parts Steaming Site and it says to do it only one to four times a year. If you keep steaming it up down there at this rate of every week you will be well on your way to having an herb garden growing in your hooha. And nobody wants to be the girl who smells like Mrs. Dash's Italian Blend. I'm just sayin...

And also, good luck. I'm keeping my fingers crossed

I read this last night but didn't have time to comment before bed - I laughed so hard at that last line that I was actually scared Hubby would ask what the hell was wrong with me and I'd have to explain the steam bath thingy to him.
GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR OFFER!!! Hoping things work out and you're in that fantastic house soon!
