New Link to my Blog

I was just surfing my sitemeter stats (thanks again, Living Advent!) and saw that someone had been referred to me from a website called "Conceiving Concepts."

Here's the link:

I am laughing out loud at the "All Ye Who Have Hope," my, how very proper!!!

Pretty cool that I got a shout-out from a non-Catholic fertility source! They must have heard about my four ovaries. 'Sup.

How cool! I love that they have AYWH as "All Ye Who Have Hope". Your ovaries are awesome. The word verification is "unholi".

HA!

Gotta meet the Anglican twin of AYWH.

And I absolutely can't resist this - it couldn't be "all ye who haveth hope" because even in the Old English, "haveth" (or "hath") was only the conjugation for the third-person singular (he, she, it). If it were the second-person singular (you-one-person), it would be "havest," but "all ye" is second-person plural (you-all) so it's just "have." I'm afraid that use of "hath" as being the old-fashioned version, rather than specifically the old-fashioned version of a single conjugation, is a long-standing pet peeve of mine. :)

misfit... you're a geek.

hahaha, jk, I love it :) My pet-peeve is equally as annoying, (among others) I hate (or shall I say "hateth") when people mispronounce the Italian "Gi" sound and always make it a "JEE." The i after the g just serves to make the g a soft g... so when people say "Jee-ovanni" for Giovanni, or more frequently in this Catholic IF circle, "Jee-anna" for St. Gianna. It's simply Janna, people. Thank you :P

Hi Babes,

Along the Italian mispronunciation pet peeves, mine is asking for an "expresso." Arrrgggghhhh, it makes my skin crawl!

I love you. Glad to read that your vaca was a good recovery and chance to spend time with your mother-in-law. Missing you.

LOVE YOU XAN!!! Thank you for being probably the only athiest who reads my blog! You are my very favorite athiest :) :) (Not to mention among one of my very favorite people.)

You're the best.

Congrats on the new link to your blob. I will not be surprised if you are contacted by SEVERAL publishers very soon. Please hurry and get all of your writings copywrited TCIE, I am not joking! You are a very talented writer. I don't want to see the secularists get a hold of your genius, spin it and use it for THEIR advantage. I also think you have a book or two in you. Love, Little JoAnn

Sorry, I meant Blog, not Blob!

Oh poo, I thought for some reason you were athiest, and Al was agnostic.
Ah well.
Miss you!

Xan said...

Well, that was probably true, but I'm redefining myself... Perhaps I'm more of an "agnostical athiest." I will say this, though, I have become envious of you, and folks like you, who have such strong faith.

Anyway, we are taking Zeus camping this weekend, should be interesting! Hopefully he won't put holes in our tent floor with his big paws.
